Ardoise and SureSkills today announced a partnership to bring AI-native learning to enterprises across the markets SureSkills serves, beginning with the UK and the Nordics. The two companies will go to market together, combining Ardoise's AI-native learning platform with SureSkills' three decades of learning design and delivery expertise.
The partnership pairs two complementary strengths. Ardoise brings a platform built for AI from the ground up rather than retrofitted onto legacy systems: curated AI-native courses, an AI-assisted authoring studio, and skills labs where learners practice real interactions with conversational AI. SureSkills brings what turns a platform into outcomes: instructional design, content production, and the deployment know-how to roll learning out across large, distributed workforces.
For SureSkills' clients, the result is learning that is contextualized to their organization and personalized to each learner, delivered at scale by a partner who understands their market. For Ardoise, it is a route to enterprises in new geographies through a trusted local partner rather than a cold market entry.
The partnership also answers a question many L&D teams are quietly sitting on: what happens to the content they have already built? Most large organizations hold thousands of SCORM modules, often years of design work and budget, that are increasingly static in a world moving toward adaptive, AI-native learning. SureSkills' approach is not to discard that investment but to carry it forward, modernizing existing libraries into living learning that practices with people and stays current. It is a more sustainable path: protect what clients have already paid for, and rejuvenate it rather than replace it.
The two companies are already working together to support frontline workforces on strategically important government initiatives in the Middle East, with Canada among the next target markets. The immediate focus is a joint UK and Nordics launch this month.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in how organizations build capability. The old model, buying authoring tools and owning static content, is giving way to living, AI-native learning that adapts as needs change. That shift is the subject of a webinar featuring Learning Strategist Lori Niles-Hofman, The End of Courses (And What Replaces Them), on Tuesday 30 June, exploring AI tutors, real-time practice, and what L&D leaders need to know as the content model changes beneath them.
Quotes
Annee Bayeux, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Ardoise: “SureSkills has spent thirty years earning the trust of L&D teams at some of the world's most demanding organizations. That trust is not something you build with technology alone, it is built by people who know how to make learning actually land. Pairing that with a platform built natively for AI means clients do not have to choose between innovation and execution. They get both, in their context, in their market.”
Vincent Annest, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Ardoise: “A partnership only works when the economics work for everyone, the partner, the client, and us. We have built this one to reward the outcomes that matter and to scale cleanly across markets. SureSkills is exactly the kind of partner you want when you are serious about doing that properly.”
Ross Bolton, CEO - Learning Services, SureSkills: “Our clients have invested years and significant budget in their learning content. They do not want to throw that away, and they should not have to. What they want is to bring it into what comes next. Ardoise lets us modernize existing libraries into living, AI-native learning rather than starting from zero. It is a more responsible path for our clients, and it is genuinely built for this moment.”
